Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs with cheese
Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal with fresh fruit
coffee with cream and no sugar

Lunch:
HUGE salad with lots of veggies, mashed avocado instead of dressing
handful of pistachios
lots of raw carrots

Mid-day:
coffee with cream and no sugar
three spoonfuls of ice cream (Whitey's Ice Cream - a hometown favorite!)

Dinner:
Salad with cheese and turkey, vinegarette dressing
Yogurt with fruit

Evening:
A handful of popcorn

I spent the evening visiting with a childhood friend. I just love those friendships. We met in 7th grade and were constantly together through our high school years. As adults we have always kept in contact. Even though I only see her a couple times a year it feels just like yesterday. We talk, laugh and it just feels so comfortable. Tomorrow her daughter is going to babysit for me (can't believe she is old enough!) and we are going out for dinner. I really need the break from my boys. I love them a lot but the past few weeks have been extremely hard. I know God is teaching me and I am thankful!
