I am striving to become a better photographer. My dad was a photographer in the Navy and taught me some basics. I served as a high school year book photographer and have spent countless hours photographing my kids! In January, when I traveled to Ethiopia, I ended up taking all the child sponsorship pictures for FOVC. It was fun and rewarding. It was neat to show people pictures I took and see their hearts moved. I hope to return to Ethiopia with the next team. I want to take more sponsorship pictures, capture life in Ethiopia, use pictures to stir hearts, produce action and make a difference in the world.

In Ethiopia my camera broke so we bought a new one and got a fun lens! I have taken one photography class and plan to take three more. Today, I had fun taking pictures of my boys. Our neighbor sells icees for 30 cents. My boys use their allowance money to buy one a day. It is a special treat that I am sure they will always remember.

  1. I love these pictures! Great work with the camera. Isn't photography fun? I'm really hoping to take a class someday too, there's so much I want to learn!
