These are my precious neighbors (2 ladies are missing) who have been
gathering since September to learn what the Bible has to say about God, sin, Jesus, life and death. The study has been amazing! I am in awe of how God knows our gifts, pairs us with other believers and uses us (despite our sins & weaknesses) to bring truth to the lost souls he has placed in our lives. We all gathered tonight at my house to watch
The Passion of the Christ. The study we are doing is coming to an end. In the next few weeks we will be reading about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. I believe we will end right before Easter! How timely! We are reading a book called
The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus. It is a Bible overview which focuses on the main theme of the Bible - Jesus! The book clearly discusses God, sin, God's plan of redemption, Jewish history & customs and the significance of Jesus death, burial and resurrection. It is ideal for seeking unbelievers or new believers who know very little about the Bible.
Aimee (my ministry partner) and I were super excited to take this picture. Everyone else just went along to please us :) They made us sit in the middle on my porch swing. I just LOVE Aimee. She is incredibly gifted in ways that I am not! I am learning SO much from her about leading a women's study and loving on non-believers. One of these days I am going to get her to write out her testimony. I am amazed that I prayed over her home before I even knew her. God sure
answered my prayers!
I love how diverse your group is - varying ages + races coming together to learn about Christ! Powerful!
