Minnesota is known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes.” However, there are officially 11,842 and on one of them sits a little log cabin, which was built almost 80 years ago by my husband's great-grandfather. It is my favorite place in the whole world. Each summer, we head “up north” (a phrase common here in Minnesota), escaping the noise of the city and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
