Dear Blog,
I have really missed you this summer. Life has been crazy busy! The boys are home from school, July was spent tearing out flooring and kitchen cabinets, ugh! We spent a week with my family celebrating my parent's 60th wedding anniversary! And now we are gearing up to get our house ready to put on the market. I've missed writing, pouring out my heart (my therapy time!)
This house thing is stressful and yesterday I was about to lose it so I opened my Bible and prayed over Proverbs 3:5-6.

This house thing is stressful and yesterday I was about to lose it so I opened my Bible and prayed over Proverbs 3:5-6.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
This season of change is hard for me, there are so many variables like can we even sell our house, will we get enough, can we get through this HUGE to-do list to get it on the market, can we find a decent house in our price range, where do we even look to move, how will school factor into all of this...the list goes on and it is overwhelming and stressful but...
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
I am clinging to the promise in God's word. I am trusting God with all my heart, acknowledging my limited understanding and believing that He will guide us in this process. Now God won't do the painting, kitchen installation, cleaning, school and house searching for us, we have to do the work but I believe with ALL my heart that He will show us where we need to go. I am thankful that I trust in God, who promises to guide the steps of those who whole-heartedly follow Him.
