I tried to write this blog post 5 times. I wrote, edited, rewrote and still didn't like it. I really want to be one of those people who can say things in a poetic and beautiful way but I am not. I am a simple, straight to the point writer and that is OK! So here I go:
The other night I was outside. The sun was shining through the trees. The sunlight made me think about how the Bible says that God reveals Himself to us through His creation. Romans 1:20 says,
"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."
The sun is an incredible picture of God. It is HUGE, we can't look directly at it and it keeps us alive. Our solar system, the earth, revolve around it with precision. Without the sun we would not exist. God is HUGE, we can't see him and without Him we would not exist. However, whether or not our lives revolve around Him is up to us. God has shown us, through his creation, what we need to do. I am striving to revolve my life around God, are you?
