My trip to Ethiopia has been postponed and I am SO sad. The truth is, this trip has been a challenge from the beginning. I been praying for God's guidance and looking back I can definitely see Him closing doors. We had a couple team members back out, in March airfare was outrageously expensive and there was indecision along the way. I feel sad because I was SO excited to take my son (summer vacation seemed like the ideal time) to see all the FOVC kids. I just wanted to hug those 118 precious little friends whose pictures adorn the walls of my office. I also feel that our sponsors deserve a personal update from me (their sponsorship coordinator). I am praying about a trip in the fall. I am praying that God would continue to work in the hearts and lives of everyone involved. After all, in the end, it is all about Him!
