I can't believe I haven't blogged in 3 weeks. I have been SO busy.
My 2 older boys go to a charter school that is part homeschooling. They are home Thursday & Friday and do their schoolwork online. It requires much of my time and management. What can I say, they are boys! I've been told that girls are much more self motivated. So Monday through Wednesday I am frantically trying to get everything done that I need to do, so that I can focus on them the other two days.
My little guy started Kindergarten and despite being really excited, he is struggling. When he talks about his day he get enthused but mornings are tough and he struggles to go which means I struggle.
In August I started a position as a sponsorship coordinator for FOVC (the school I visited in Ethiopia) and I love it! However, it has been very time consuming. These past few weeks I have had 3 HUGE to do's on my FOVC list. They are all done, which feels great!
I wrote a post last March called Chocolate Chip Cookies from Jesus and it led to an opportunity to lead 4 workshops at a women's retreat these past two weekends. The workshop was called Chocolate Chip Evangelism. Who knew that I could come up with a 45 minute talk on evangelism? God knew! I want to share more about it at some point. Overall, it was a great experience and I had some wonderful conversations with many ladies. One in particular I want to share. A lady in her 70's came up to me the day after my workshop and said, "I live in a senior housing residence and I know many people need to hear about Jesus. I think I am going to start baking cookies and hanging them on people's doors with a note that says I am praying for them." I felt humbled that my workshop inspired a lady who I should be learning from!
I purchased a $190 boot camp fitness class on groupon for $29! It starts next Monday. For three weeks I am going to get my butt kicked at 5:45 a.m. and I need it!
That is all for now!

Good for you and the workshop. Wish I could have been there. Love to you.
