Starting a new blog
I have decided to start a new blog for a few reasons. I find that our family blog is a way for me to keep friends and family informed about our life. It also gives me a way to be creative and is an outlet for expressing what is on my mind. Lately, I have been stressed. The stress is from different areas of life but one in particular is the outreach we do in our neighborhood. I really need to be able to get my thoughts, concerns and prayers out of my mind. I could just keep a private journal but I think this is such a big part of our lives that I want to share with those who care. So if you are reading this please know that I covet your prayers and appreciate you taking an interest in the ministry that God has given us here in our neighborhood.

Hey Ingrid -
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea, and I'm looking forward to following your journey! I just started doing a similar thing, privately, right now - spending 15 min./day working writing a book on the 5 church plants I've been a part of, and hoping to sort out various questions, hopes and frustrations along the way. A girl had asked me to do so at a party last fall, because she felt it was something she would want to read, and because she felt there was a lack of church-planting literature from a female perspective. Anyhow, I don't really know if it will ever evolve into a publishable form but am interested in the process and what I might learn, that can help me and 'the church' as a whole!
So - I'm just thinking that similarly this might open new doors for you and help you to see the issues you are dealing w/more clearly, and that I appreciate your sharing the insights/struggles with us (your faithful readers :) ). Thank you for including us!
Sending much love & prayer your way!
Christy
